Call of Duty League

A launch event worthy of Activision Blizzard’s flagship franchise.

The Call of Duty League is a global, city based esports league composed of 12 professional teams, in 11 markets across North America and Europe. Our team had the opportunity to partner with Activision Blizzard to produce the 2020 Call of Duty Launch Event. Located at the Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this three day event was originally planned as a multi city tour, but was cut short, because, well 2020 happened. Thousands of fans watched this three day event live at the Armory which featured Pro, Semi-Pro and Challenger gaming events in competitive formats. Even more fans watched globally across the broadcast streams.

The Armory was a perfect space for the 5v5 Professional play, and had plenty of room for the additional attendee experiences. For the main stage we setup a beautiful 80’ wide footprint. There was VIP custom seating along the front row. The players themselves were surrounded by LED that featured individual streams, team logos and branded graphics. In the center was an 840+ tile LED wall to bring the Call of Duty battle to life for in-venue fans. In addition to our team bringing over 23 million pixels and tight production management, we elevated the experience with rock and roll inspired lighting, and seat shaking audio.
